The renowned Colombian design studio Lip hired me to work on this project as a freelancer. Under the creative direction of Viviana Flórez and the supervision of Lucho Correa, we created a beautiful book that pays tribute to the work of the non-profit organization Best Buddies Colombia.
The foundation has done an outstanding job of integration, providing job opportunities for people with down syndrome and therefore giving room to mutual growth, understanding and tolerance.
The pages display the work of some of the best photographers the country has to offer, such as Lucho Mariño and Coque Gamboa. In strong black and white photographies, people with down syndrome are portrayed, surrounded by their friends and family.
The entire book was kept in black and white. Only the endpaper contained four color photographies, thus assigning them a special function within the composition.
